    Hi,
This may of been covered already but I can’t see it so sorry if I cover a previous post.

Is there a way if I reduce the size of the map section to allow space on the right hand side of the page, for the hover over the drop pin to show the preview on the right instead of on the map. Currently when I view a preview / hover it moves the map around and when I move away I have to remember which one I just did. Where as if the preview was on the side the mouse pointer can stay still and this would then allow me to see which pin I have just been on and then easily move to the next, without the map moving.

    Hi,

theoretically it is feasible, but it would require the customization of several files.

How comfortable are you with PHP/JS coding and wordpress hooks and actions?

    Let us know,

    Hi Paolo

Haven’t really done a lot with php or js but always willing to give it a go.
Also still fairly new to WP but as I have found as long as you have a backup you can’t go too wrong.

    Definitely look in folder geodirectorygeodirectory-functionsmap-functions

Almost all map files are in there.

You may have to tweak something too in

    geodirectorygeodirectory-widgetshome_map_widget.php

    geodirectorygeodirectory-widgetslisting_map_widget.php

Before even starting to do this, you will have to study how to accomplish it without modifying plugin core files.

Because if you modify core files, after every updates you will lose all your work.

    Thx

I don’t know if you can position the info box off of the map? It wold be good if you could, but I suspect because it is part of the map API it is going to popup somehwere on the map and cause the map to move?
