Google Maps API not working on new listing

    I spent hours yesterday reading up on the errors – and in my console saw the errors, but could not correct. The challenge is that not having coding experience – makes it quite challenging to make the changes that Google has implemented – simple if you know how to i.e The sensor parameter is no longer required for the Maps JavaScript API. I have corrected the matter on other sites – but this one is giving me a challenge. 🙂 We can normally work it out following Google FAQ’s etc.

    Our challenges
    The challenge comes in when adding a new listing – plotting on the map.
    Also cannot set the “start point of the Map” in main settings

    Thanks for your post. Kindly make sure that you’ve setup billing for your Google API key https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ . However, it looks like you’re not using GD, kindly contact your theme author for further assistance.

    The way our free Maps API key plugin works is, if you have multiple plugins or themes using the API, then you can use our plugin to enter the key ONCE.

    However, there are two things to note:

    1. It only works if the other plugin and theme authors have implemented Google Maps in “the WP way”
    2. Keys should be removed from all other plugins and themes (or you will still get an error that you are loading the API multiple times).

    If the other plugin or theme stops working when you remove the key, that usually means they have not implemented Google Maps “the WP way” and you will need to contact the plugin or theme author for support.
