Google Maps Is broken

    Hi, on all the pages were a map is showing he only shows it half. Black bar on half of the map. I’m using an X theme and installed the compatibility plugin. Even when I change theme I have the same problem. I deactivated all plugins to see if there could be a conflict but still same result.
    Any idea what this could be?

    You are using massive icons for your maps:
    /wp-content/uploads/2013/06/placeholder6.png

    I replaced the icon with a normal size for the bars & kafee category:
    /places/barscafepubs/

    You’ll need to do something similar for all your other categories.

    Ok thanks! Seems to be working. Just one more question, is it possible to set the map just for one specific category? I can’t find that option.

    The GD listings page is the template for all categories. So the widgets you add there, including a map widget, is for all categories.

    Ok the only thing that is weird in that case when you go to my homepage the map only shows the category hotels. The other categories like pubs are not shown. Do you know what the reason is in this case?

    You have chosen to hide the other categories at
    GD > design > map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP

    Also, a category needs at least one listing before it will be added to the map.
