Google Rich Snippets for Reviews not Working

    When checking http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets:

    “No rich snippet will be generated for this data, because it appears to include multiple reviews of an item, but no aggregate review information. More information about aggregate reviews.”

    Apparently GD does not produce an aggregate rating.

    This is very valuable if it will work because its possible that your review stars will appear in Google results.

    Will this be fixed/added soon?

    Do you have the latest version of the multirating and reviews addons installed?

    Could you provide a link to a page with ratings that report that problem?

    Hi do u have the option in multiratings>general>Hide rating stars summary on detail page> ticked? If this is ticked then that’s the problem… If not then let us know.

    check your plugins are upto date and if so please provide wp-admin so we can investigative.

    you are using GD version 1.2.4. Current version is 1.3.8.

    We urge you to check all your plugin version before opeining thread like this.

    I don’t understand. You are saying

    1. the rich snippets plugin did not work in versio 1.2.4?

    2. that ratings plugin should not work at all anymore since I upgraded it?

    Hi,

    core plugins and addons should always be kept updated to the latest version.

    If you are using core 1.2.4 with a more recent multiratings addon, anything could stop working, not only reviews or rich snippets. They are not ment to work together.

    This is what I’m saying.

    Hi,

    you should really go the right way and download the latest core instead.

    We don’t keep old addons for download and we don’t support them.

    I wouldn’t even know which version is to be used with 1.2.4.

    That’s a core version of at least 5 months ago…

    I cant. I will be working with that version forever since I will be customizing the core. Unfortunately, there are many things I cannot simply do with hooks which is why I need to customize the core.

    So I’ve spent a lot of money on my project to find out there is no older version support, nor customization ability from the company that built the software.

    I have tried getting help in the Jobs forum with no response.

    BTW, your support policies do not specify that you only support the latest version.

    This is terrible situation.

    (for the record, its Version 1.0.5)
