You would need to upgrade to the beta GT to use it.

January 8, 2015 at 7:46 pm #26791Hi
I uploaded the file on my geotheme site as a plugin. I get a export option on the menu. I click on it and I get a export.csv file but it is empty(just headings: post_title, post_author, etc) . What else am I suppose to do???

January 10, 2015 at 10:14 am #26900Hi
I managed to convert the database and download the export.csv file from geotheme.Just a couple of things:
1- The image,post_category, post_tags fields are blank.
2- Under post_type I get “event” and “place” rather than “gd_event” and “gd_place”.
3- I do not see any fields for even_date, starttime or endtime. Now I am trying to upload it into a geodirectory site. So I go to General/csv upload, but the file created by the conversion tool is not uploaded. It does not do anything when I click on “Select & Upload CSV”.However If I download one of the samples event_listings.csv I can upload it and import it with no problems.
Please advise?
January 12, 2015 at 8:03 pm #27209Any thoughts on all the above. Also should the tool export the author profile(username, password, email address, website, twitter, facebook, etc)

April 27, 2015 at 6:28 pm #38100BUMP BUMP – I haven’t been on here for a while, any updates on this? Thanks.
April 28, 2015 at 7:39 am #38121Obviously not enough people screaming for this so its not important. How long is it now since this was promised?
I personally dropped my geotheme subscription in the belief that this was just around the corner so now I am sat in limbo land.
I either take a chunk of time out and manually convert everything over or sit waiting (as I have been doing) or leave my Geotheme sites without updates (not ideal)
I am not holding out seeing this tool so I guess I will have to take the time to convert manually.
August 16, 2015 at 2:40 am #49613I would like to convert my GeoTheme site over to GeoDirectory… any update on the geo_exporter script?
Thanks
September 22, 2015 at 11:33 am #54072I want to convert my old GeoThemes site to Geodirectory. There seems to be several ways to convert the site and I want to know which method is best.
-running Geotheme version 3.1.1
-have about 353 places that need exporting with photos
-14 events
-89 blog posts with photosShould I,
-use the GeoTheme export tool?
-the 3rd party GT Bulk Manangment tool?
-upgrade to Geotheme 3.4+ and then use the GT to GD conversion tool? How do I easily export the photos to the new Geodirectory site?
Thanks
