home page image not loading

It takes 2 -3 refreshes in order for my home page to load. I just replaced my featured image with a much smaller image (25kb) in order to assist with page load time. This doesnt appear to have helped. Attached are some screen shots showing how the site loads on Safari.

Also, my logo seems to load small. I have played with the image sizes without success. Any advise on this?

The link didnt work for me. However, the image issue seems to have resolved itself. Maybe it was a cashe thing.
