    1. using [gd_homepage_map] can you define a coordinates?
I have a few outliers that make the map center oddly. I’d like to set a center point and zoom that looks nicer. Anyway?

    2. In the categories, standard UX is that when un-checking a parent category, all children get disabled as well. (see attached) is this possible.

Less about maps: but tangent of #2
It would be nice if child categories didn’t require an icon and just used the parent categories icon. Would save a lot of time. I had 300 categories in 6 parent categories, and had to assign the same icon to a bunch of categories, when I just wanted to to be a child.

If these are not possible, let me know and I’ll submit feature requests.

    Hi,
1 – you can find all the options for the shortcode here: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-shortcodes/
try with [gd_homepage_map autozoom=true] and you should be fine

2- I think it’s a normal behavior if you disable the parent, all the subcategory will be disabled.
Each category needs an icon, manually uploaded 🙁

1 – Auto doesn’t work because we have some listings that are in odd placements that we want off the map. I want to set zoom (which I can) AND a center coordinate.

2- un-checking a parent DOES NOT un-check it’s children. Tested on mine, and a few others, seems to be how this works. Hope there is a fix.

My category icons are over taking the map. In other words, you can barely see the map due to the category listing icons.
How do I fix this without having to disable the map?

Hello, you can choose smaller category icons, if the icons are big. Or you can use the Marker cluster addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/marker-cluster/

Latest upgrade adds the child category control. Thank you.

A show/hide all would take it to the next step.

to K Glaudi, you can try the cluster Haddon, cleaned up my map quite a bit.
