hueman theme problem

    Hi – my problem is that I can’t see the the right and left sidebars with their widgets – this is the page I’m talkin about http://lamuccapazza.org/wp/mappiamoci/ – what I’m doing wrong? thank you

    Your theme is adding very wide padding to your main content area. I’ll get Paolo to have a closer look after the weekend. You can diagnose the CSS yourself if you want, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    Thank you Guust 🙂 Yes, I’ve added the padding, but even before I couldn’t see the sidebars – the fact is that, if I analyze the page with the Inspect element, I can’t find the sidebars code, as in home page, for exemple

    You have a sidebar there, just add a widget to GD Listings Right section, and you will see it.
    This is the code on the page:

    <aside id="geodir-sidebar-right" class="geodir-sidebar-right geodir-listings-sidebar-right" etc

    For example your detail page has the sidebar with content: http://lamuccapazza.org/wp/mappiamoci/italy/puglia/foggia/colonie-feline/via-mandara/

    Hi Guust, thank you for the answer – I’ve activated the right and left sections in listing page layout settings and added a widget in GD Listing Left section, but nothing appened… would you like to access yourself?

    Ah, no, I’m wrong! I can see the widget, but it’s not the right position! I would like to have my two sidebars as in home page…. 🙁

    That is because of the wide padding left and right that is used on all your pages.
    You should adjust the CSS to remove that padding on the GD pages.

    If you refer to these paddings
    .col-3cm .main-inner {
    background: url(../img/sidebar/s-left.png) left 0 repeat-y;
    padding-left: 340px;
    padding-right: 260px;
    }

    they’re theme settings – you can see the same in home page

    hi,

    that theme has very unusual templates. It will be very hard to make GD fully compatible with it.

    I’ve flagged this for a developer, but it could take some time before he’ll come up with the solution.

    It could even be too long to be worth our time. Nobody ever requested to have that theme compatible…

    Paolo is right the theme does not work in the standard sort of way, i suggest you try GD with our free theme Directory starter https://wordpress.org/themes/directory-starter/
    If you then want to buy a membership we can look closer at making your theme fully compatable.

    🙁 ok… I’ve tried Directory Starter but it doesn’t meet my needs: I need three columns – I’ll try with another tamplate and, if I don’t succeed, I’ll buy a membership
