I can't find how to add widgets on Home

    I’m using V2, and would like to add some of the cool the GD widgets to my homepage, for example, a full widht map on top.

    So far, the home only shows the search “hero section”.

    It is a static page, set as Frontpage on Settings.

    If I go to edit the page, and I use a template called “Geodirectory”, some widgets and a sidebar appear.

    But if I go to Appearence widgets I don’t know how to add some more or the map that I plan to have as the site’s first impression.

    Please help! I will provide private credentials below.

    In short, use the shortcode builder to add different shortcodes to each GD template. You can add whatever you like directly to the WP Page that is set as your home page. Just ‘edit’ the page and add the shortcodes you want.

    Aaah thanks, I knew I was missing something.

    How can I add a fullwidth map with markers though?

    When I insert a map I get “Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.”

    I have a CPT that I’m using, it has 12 listings, and “Places” I set them all to draft.
