November 28, 2019 at 8:35 pm #519060I have installed add ons for CPT and Events. I need help with this. That is happening to me:
 https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/cant-add-fields-to-listings-or-events/
but this case was closed and the provided link to help him was not enough Someone else was able to create 160 fiels in new CPT or listings, but I cannot add any single field… I receive the message: “too many columns or key value”… “default value”… and is impossible. Also, second questions. Should be better to split PLACES into: Restaurants, Hotels, Attractions, etc? (to avoid problems of this type and better management of the places?) Thanks a lot for all you do. November 28, 2019 at 8:53 pm #519068A general guideline is 60 fields, but you can contact your host and ask them about increasing the max size of your db tables. If you are unable to create any fields, please share all your connection information here in a private reply so we can check that out, but also ping your host about your db settings. I do not want to create 160… I just want at least to be able to add one single field, but cannot. I do not think that is from DB size… but just now I am with my host support asking them that. Other idea? November 28, 2019 at 9:19 pm #519081We will need to check the site to know more. Will post when is done.Thanks. November 29, 2019 at 12:32 am #519107Ok.
 Now is working…
Whenever you want is available.November 29, 2019 at 2:56 am #519113As an addition, just now I installed the advanced Search addon and when trying to add into a CPT any advanced search option from the left side to the right one, which seems to me similar process than adding the fields in the CPT it says: “something went wrong”.
I do not know about DB MySQL, GD, … I am still in pumpers understanding all the logic, but I was able last week with the FREE Geodirectory plugin to add fields into Places…
Since last week I did much checkins here-there, plugins, installed, uninstalled,… but nothing hard yet.
This is something I want to make sure is working: all the functions of the plugins and addons and start to produce. Please, let me know when is checked and where the problem is.
ThanksNovember 29, 2019 at 3:27 am #519119Can you please check the WP Admin password, it is not valid for that user.
