Hi,

Where can I find some documentation on how to use the image slider widget please?

I am having some issues with seeing new posts displayed in the slider… I might be missing something as the dummy data shows.

Also, I am not sure I understand the logic behind it… what “Number of posts(total):” means? If I go for the default value of 5, how do I control what posts are selected in the 5 ones, assuming that more than 5 will meet the criteria.

Thanks for your post. I believe you are referring to the GD > Listing Slider Widget https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#slider . Did you configure the settings as shown in the attached screenshot?

Hello,

You can add one to your GD Home page at WP – Appearance – Widgets

The widget options let you choose which listings appear.

The total listings is how many listings are in the slider, and then you can set a width so it can show one at a time or 5 at a time.

You can filter all your listings by the same options as advanced search: post type and category, and then sort them.
