Impossible to select category

    Hi,

    When I try to add a new place if I select a category from the drop down menu nothing happens, it completely ignores my selection and keeps showing “Select category”. There are 10 category correctly showing in the category backend page. I have recently upgraded to 1.5.6 but I am not sure whether this problem appeared after updating or not. I was clearly capable of selecting the category before as I have several places already in the database.

    Any idea of what the problem could be?

    Can you post URL and WP admin details, then we can have a look at your settings for you.

    Have you installed any new plugins lately?
    I think there is some ajax error, I changed the category field to multiselect and that works, so there must be some conflict with one of your other plugins.

    Hi,

    the 1st problem I see is that you are using Wp Rocket, which is not compatible with GD. GD Booster is the only caching system comaptible with GeoDirectory.

    Also you have this JS error in that page:

    TypeError: obj.currentStyle is undefined

    Please try to disable the wp-sliding-login plugin and let us know if the problem goes away.

    If it doesn’t I see that you also have other +40 plugins. You should try disabling all non GD Plugins and test again. If the problem is still there, then the issue is either theme or server realted. If it goes away, reactivate plugins one by one while testing until the culprit is found.
