Hi I’ve found strange behavior in the system:
when I’m adding new place from the page as a user(but not Owner), and the place is published by admin, the notification email is send to the place’s email. To reproduce:
    1. login as a user on the page
    2. Click “Dodaj miejce” in main menu
    3. Provide your email address in the ‘Add place’ form
    3. As soon as admin will approve the place you (as a place) will receive the notification email directed to the user who created it;

    regards

The email is not sent to the email address added to the listing, that email address is only used to create the “Wyślij zapytanie” form.
But an email is sent to the email address of the user, regardless of the email used for the listing.

I just tested, using my email address in the Add Listing, and I guess you as the user got notified; I did not get a notification to the email used for the listing.

That is how it is meant to work, but you can change some settings at
    GD > Notifications.

    Hi Guust,
    thanks for your analysis.
But for me the issue still exists.
Please see attached doc to see the problem.
If there is any setting in Notification tab please let me know.

    Regards

Can you send us your URL and admin details please, I cannot replicate that behaviour at all.

I have now been able to reproduce it on both my test site and your site.
I’ll get Stiofan to look at this.

    Scenario:
When a user (user@email) adds a listing and enters an email address for the listing (business@email), GD is sending a confirmation to both email addresses (user@email + business@email).

I guess you do not want an email to be sent to the email address of the listing, but only to the email address of the listing owner.

I think it might be best practice to send confirmation to the listing email address as well, so the business listed knows that their email address has been added to your site; you should not create a contact form for a business unless they know about it (although you can still do this from admin).

So let’s see what the others think about this, and whether this can be made optional.

Thanks for spotting this, this is a bug, it should always go to the listing owner, i have changed this and it will be in the next version.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
Thanks for taking care of it.
Guust, you are right it might be a nice option to send the confirmation to the listing address, but it should be just an option. And it will require new Notification Email Template.
Anyway it is really additional functionality! You might consider it in the future. For now, it will be enough just not to sent the notifications to the listing address!
