Since updating to V2, none of my CPT Category links are working. I have gone to permalinks and saved again without making changes to refresh the Permalinks, but it did not help. Here is a link to what the Category Archive should look like from a Development Site I saved using V1: https://geodirv1site.wpengine.com/schools/stafford-msd/

Here is a link to what it looks like now using V2 https://houstonprimerealty.com/schools/category/stafford-msd/united-states/texas-1/stafford/

For some reason, it is adding the location to the URL. I do not have it set up this way in the Permalinks for V1 and I don’t know why it is doing this in V2.

    Hi kpewitt,

Thanks for your post. I’d like you to know that permalinks have changed and here is the section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/

    Thanks!

I followed the directions and changed the permalinks saved them and then resaved them back the original way and it did not fix the problem. None of CPT Category links are working properly. Page of the results shows no listings. Page 2 on the other hand does show Category listings. Here is an example: https://houstonprimerealty.com/places-to-visit/category/parks/

Please post WP Admin in a private reply so we can check on the settings.

Have you already reviewed the settings on the Location tab?

    GD – Settings – Locations – ADVANCED

There are settings to remove the location from the archive and detail pages. You could try changing those, too.

The query is right and returning results, my guess would be caching but i can’t tell properly without FTP.

Those work, thanks. The developers will take a look.
