Hello,
Hopefully this is the right place to ask this:
I bought a subscription, I installed all the plugins. When I go to enter the License Key’s for each plugin there is a long pause, then a popup shows up and just says “error”
I searched the forum but all I found is that it was a geo dir problem on your end?
Anyway, please let me know how I can activate these.
Thank you,
Brett

the plugin page takes almost 1 minute to load from my location. What hosting provider is that?
Would you mind providing FTP credentials too so that we can do some extra test? It appears that your server is unable to communicate with ours.
I flagged this for the developers.
As soon as you’ll let us know they’ll check.
Thanks

Your version of OpenSSL on the server is out of date, please update it.
It is so out of date not even PayPal will work properly, please see our blog post here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/paypal-sha-256-compliance-and-what-it-means/Please ask your server admin to update OpenSSl and it should work.
Thanks,
Stiofan
July 27, 2017 at 9:18 pm #388751Thank you! I have contacted my hosting provider. They don’t know when they can update my server OpenSSL so they are going to move my site over to a server that has an already updated SSL.
I will post back once they move everything and I change my nameservers.

July 29, 2017 at 1:55 pm #388961Hello,
They switched the site to a new server, I don’t get an error now when I try to input a LK. But now I am getting this message : OpenSSL 0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 01 Jul 2008
I’m not sure moving the site helped any. I might need to find a new hosting company.
When you guys have a chance login check things out let me know if I need to move hosting co.
What should I ask and look for in a shared hosting company? The plan is to start small then move my site to a dedicated server down the road when traffic gets to be too much. So I would like a good shared hosting company for now and be able to migrate into a dedicated server situation with the same company.
Thank you,
Brett

August 1, 2017 at 4:52 pm #389304Hello,
I switched my site to a VPS. I was able to activate my license keys.
The site seems to load slower. It runs Apache not Nginx. I ran a test and seems like its slow loading javascript.
I don’t have gdbooster running while I’m developing the site. Do you guys recommend and type of js shrinkers?
I’m sure there are some other things I could do server side to optimize resources but I would just like to spend my time setting up this awesome directory.
Thanks again for your help.
Brett
