    Hello dear support,

I really have a problem with the understanding how to link the custome posts. I have place, events, teachers and I want to link them all. I read in the docs and other support topics. I add from the settings in each CPT the Link Posts:, but I am missing something. (I didn’t see Link Forms:)
I wish when new teacher I about to be added, to be able selecting a places that he is teaching. Also when you are adding an event, to be able to select from the list of places.
Please advice, what I am missing in my settings.

    Hi nanera,

Thanks for your post. Please refer to the instructions here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/custom-post-types/#link and see if it helps.

I have already add the CPT to the listing form from the back-end. I don’t see them in the front-end. When I’m trying to add new event or teacher it dosen’t show me anywhere to choose related places.

I saw where was the problem. I just had to drag the CPT to not be on the bottom in settings. On other positions works fine.

One more thing. Is it possible, when event is adding and place is selected (linked) the fields for address to disappear? I mean that when you link a place with event it’s confusing to enter address again, when it’s already added in the place you link. In general I know how to hide the address fields when adding the event, but I want to do it only when the event is linked with place. Is this possible? Or if not, is it possible when linking event with a place the address of the event to be loaded from the place address? You get my point right?

    Thank you for your time.

That is not possible with settings or options in GD, no.

Ok, thank you. I guess I can do this with new CPT. One for events with linked places and other with events that are not linked.
    So mark this as resolved.
    Thank you for your time.
