Hi, I currently have two CPTs, one for businesses and one for their employees. I have them linked so that the employees show up under a tab on the business page. I’m a little confused by the places that seem to address CPT linking. There is the Link to Business selection at the bottom on Custom Post Types > gd_posttype page, where you can select what type of CPT to link to (events isn’t an option there.) Then in the pricing packages there is a Link CPTs > Yes/No option.
My current settings in the CPT > gd_posttype pages are:
Business – no link
Employee – link to shop
Event – no link (I have also tried this with it linked to shop)
Link CPTs YES under business/employee/event (although if i’m understanding the meaning of “CPT features only” heading correctly, this doesn’t relate to events? I have tried this at no and seem to get the same effect.)My problem is that everything works great for linking employee to a business. It creates a tab and they’re all listed there. Until I create an event linked to that business, then the employee tab goes away and there is only an events tab.
Is it possible to have both tabs, one linking to other CPTs and one to Events?
What exactly does the pricing package Link to CPT do and how does it relate to the other setting? It is not addressed in the pricing documentation at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/prices-and-payments-add-on-overview/
Thanks!

I’d like you to check this section of the documentation that explains how to link CPT’s https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/ and here is how to link an event to a place https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-events-to-places/ . Go through it and let us know if it helps. Which listing picture is not displaying correctly for you? Could you share the URL of the page in question so that we could take a look at it?
Thanks!

Only one linked CPT tabs will appear at a time, and events has priority. So, if events is linked, then the linked employees tab will not show. As soon as events are linked, then the employees tab will show up as a text link in the sidebar.

You have it configured correctly. In the pricing options it is considered a feature, and is most often used with events. Meaning that if a certain listing owner buys a certain price package that includes events, then they can link to events. If they don’t have that option in the price package, then the linking option is not visible on the event page when they add the event.
