Hello I have been trying to set up GeoDirectory for 2 days and I’m not having much luck. Although I can see the potential and power of the plugin, it is driving me mad trying to get this set up, and I am very savvy.
Anyway, I have installed your theme (Supreme Directory Child) and the listing pages look broken on desktop and more on mobiles. Can you please take a look.

The favourite and write a review links at the top looks out of place and not like your demo. Can you tell me why this is so I can get a better understanding of this plugin, and how to set the directory up.
Regards

First try making your permalinks more complex by adding location to them, or at least resave them:

it looks like you need to add the GD Output Locations widget to the GD Sidebar.
I would recommend you take a look at our doc here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/April 18, 2019 at 6:50 pm #481616I don’t think you have fully understood my issue.
I have attached the area of the page where I am having problems. The Attractions category is showing next to the phone number, when on the below it is on the next row. The favourite fa icon has no margin. Compared with the demo theme it looks like the styling is broken. I understand i can edit this page with CSS but I don’t understand why there would be these issues when it’s a theme made to work with the plugin?
Have a look at the attached screen shot.
April 18, 2019 at 7:08 pm #481626The only differences I see with our demo are the contact badges that include this class “alignleft”.
I’m not 100% sure where they are coming from, but I’ve alerted the developers and they’ll figure it out and let us know.
Thanks for your patience,
April 18, 2019 at 11:55 pm #481661No problem. They aren’t major issues, but the theme definitely doesn’t look as nice with these design issues. I may swap over to the divi theme again. I’ve found if I add the !important tag in CSS I can affect the shortcodes, so I may have more luck there, let me know if you find a cause/solution.
April 19, 2019 at 9:38 am #481732So I have found on the archive page when in grid view. You click the “closes time” drop down and it has another style error (see attached). A similar error appears on your demo but the closes drop down doesn’t stay open.
It’s really confusing as I like the plugin but it seems to have loads of styling issues even with the theme you made to run with it!
I appreciate you have gone to the developers about this but all I’ve done is install the plugin with it’s purpose built theme active, and it has all these style issues. I’ve looked through all the documentation and contacted the support numerous times and still haven’t solved a simple issue. Which is a shame, because this is the only plugin which offers certain features and I don’t want to start looking elsewhere, but I can’t even get started with GeoDirectory because of these design flaws.
