    Greetings,

I have three post types setup (listings, events, jobs). I’d like to be able to have a page for each of these that resembles the home page so that users can directly see a map for events or jobs without having to click on the bottom left menu (which is not very apparent to some).

So I’m creating duplicate home pages and using shortcodes to emulate for events and jobs.

I’ve inserted the shortcode for the listings map, however it continues to default to listings and seems to disregard the custom post type. Here is the code that I’m using.

    [gd_listing_map width=100% height=600 maptype=roadmap zoom=1 autozoom=true post_type=gd_jobs child_collapse=true scrollwheel=false marker_cluster=1 ]

Hi, that was a small bug in the latest version, if you update using the https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/ version, it’ll be fixed.
    Or wait for next release.

There is no need to create such pages, they are auto-created.
    /jobs/
    /events-courses/
    /places/

    Thanks

There are no plans for that at this stage as far as I know, but let’s check with the others too.

Ok, then so how would I use those github files to fix this issues. Is there a file or two that I can replace via ftp? I’m using Supreme Theme. Thx.

    Hello There,

You can replace this file https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/65726a2366acce2b2b6b5f84aeb27483f49ea352/geodirectory_shortcodes.php
    To wp-content\plugins\geodirectory\geodirectory_shortcodes.php

    Let us know.

    Kiran
