Hello,
When updating the listing on my website (/listing-preview/) the text isn’t visible when clicking update on the first page. I only see the address and the phonenumber and that stuff.
What could I have done wrong?
Regards
September 12, 2015 at 2:30 pm #52944Maybe the CSS of your theme is interfering.
Post your URL and admin details in a private message, then we can have a look for you.September 14, 2015 at 9:42 am #53073This reply has been marked as private.September 14, 2015 at 1:06 pm #53095Can you update your plugins first. They are all out of date for months.
Please also check your style sheet and other modifications, because it looks like you have hidden a few things using CSS.
Once your plugins are the latest version, we can have another look if you cannot fix it.September 14, 2015 at 1:08 pm #53097This reply has been marked as private.September 14, 2015 at 1:36 pm #53102You have updates for life for all your GD plugins as a TT user. The reason they get updated is not only to add new features but also to fix any bugs that get reported.
As per our support policy we cannot provide support for customized or out of date installations:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/Updating plugins should be a matter of minutes using the wordpress updating system.
September 14, 2015 at 1:38 pm #53103Yes indeed, but if you read the link you will see that I cannot easily update them as all my changes will be gone when they are updated since the lack of customization in GD.
I understand the policy though and will have to get back to you when I finally manage to get a week or 2 off to update the website.

I’ll set to resolved for now, but please open a new topic when you need more help later.October 22, 2015 at 8:32 am #57746I’ve updated my stuff now, can you take a look at this please?
October 22, 2015 at 12:54 pm #57765I cannot figure it out, I’ll get Paolo to have a look for you.

none of us logged in yesterday, the topic was flagged for me and I was travelling all day…
I’ve seen the problem on the preview page several times on other customer’s website and the problem was always a plugin that was hooking into the the_content filter.
1 exmaple : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-previw-issue/page/2/
Have you tried quickly disabling all non GD plugins momentarely to see if the problem would go away? If it would, you’d then reactivated them 1 by 1 till the culprit is found.
If it doesn’t please let us know and I’ll ask to the develoers to verify.
Let us know,
Thanks
October 23, 2015 at 11:32 pm #57886You still have GDF 1.0.9 installed. The current version is 1.2.3.
Because you said you updated everything I had assumed you had moved all the customisations to non-core files, and that it was just an oversight that you had not updated GDF. So, yes, I did.
But that did not fix it, so I escalated to Paolo.October 24, 2015 at 7:44 am #57920This reply has been marked as private. -
