Hi,
I added the featured image (widget) in the top position of the template and set the layout of the top position to max-width:none and padding:none, so it shows a nice full-width image on top of the details page.
I saw on the Supreme Directory theme that you display the listing title, address ratings/review (and other info) in-between the featured image and the content/sidebar section.
I would like to display the title, address, rating/review stars and the description there as well. How would I achieve that?
Thank you,

Thanks for your reply. You can either insert the GD > Output location widget or shortcode or GD > post meta shortcode to display it on your GD details/archive page. Have you given it a try?
Thanks!
May 17, 2019 at 11:42 am #487067Hi Kor,
at the moment this is how a details page looks like.
http://gdatest05.website/places/thailand/phuket/pa-tong/pubs/irish-times-pub-phuket/
I didn’t edit anything yet after the initial installation. So now I would like to move the page title, the address, the review/stars between the image and the description above the content/sidebar, under the featured image.
How would I do that? Do I just add these through shortcodes in the top position of the template? How about the page title/listing name?
I attached a screenshot of the GD Details page in the backend. This is without me ever touching or editing it.
Thank you,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you’ll need to use shortcodes to achieve this. To call the titles, you can use [gd_post_title tag=”h2″] and as for the address, you can use the [gd_output_location location=”detail”] shortcode. Have you given it a try? You should really check out the shortcode builder https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/ if you haven’t already. 🙂
May 18, 2019 at 9:48 am #487242Hi Kor,
I spend some time on the details page and the blocks and I guess i finally figured it out. I do have a few questions though:
Please have a look at this page as an example.
1. The custom fields are displayed as a bullet list. I don’t like the bullets and some of the lists become too long as you can see on the sample page from The Bell. Is it possible to display the items on 1 line, separated by a comma? Example: Parking for Cars, Parking for Motorbikes
2. I added the GD > Map, but the settings don’t seem to work. I set the zoom to 13, but each place listing shows a different zoom level. Some are extremely zoomed in, others are extremely zoomed out.
3. The review text fiels seems a bit off compared to the other layout elements, so how do I get the title ‘Review Text’ on top of the text field and how do I make the text field full width?
Thank you,

You can do that with Custom CSS, customizing the display or output functions of GD. Kor previously provided you with examples. To create your own custom CSS we have a doc to get you started here, or you can contact a developer to style your site.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/2. I added the GD > Map, but the settings don’t seem to work. I set the zoom to 13, but each place listing shows a different zoom level. Some are extremely zoomed in, others are extremely zoomed out.
Use the GD Map with Advanced options. Choose ‘Post Map’ type and then disable the option to use the post settings. That way your widget settings will override the listing settings for map type and zoom.
3. The review text fiels seems a bit off compared to the other layout elements, so how do I get the title ‘Review Text’ on top of the text field and how do I make the text field full width?
Again, Custom CSS.
May 23, 2019 at 6:52 am #488212Hi Alex,
I found the following in the manuals
gd-comma-list
so added that in the Css Class in the custom fields and works like a charm.
Thanks for the info regarding the map.
Will figure out the review box as it seems ok on mobile and tablet.
Can put on resolved,
thank you. Tony -
