Hi,
For the past couple of weeks, (maybe longer), people are unable to place their listing. They can log in, complete the “Advertise” form but the listing doesn’t go into draft status or any status it just disappears. The only person who can add a listing is admin. Any ideas?
Thanks
October 3, 2016 at 6:50 am #276574Hi Steve,
Do you think you can share the URL in question so that we can take a better look? Also, please provide WP Temp admin access to your Website so we can check on the settings.
Thanks

2 problems:
1) the 2 add-ons installed are very very old (+12 months at least). You should always keep both core and add-ons at their latest version.
You should never update the core and not the add-ons or the other way around.
Now they are so old, that auto updates will not work (they are still using the old auto update system that we changed in January).
You will need to download them from here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/ybmsteve/downloads and either update them manually via FTP (extract them 1st). Or using a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
2) W3 Total Cache is not compatible with GeoDirectory. You should deactivate all it’s component, clear the cache and lastly deactivate and delete the plugin.
Only GD Booster or the WP Super Cache + WpAutoptimize combo will work with GeoDirectory.
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks
October 7, 2016 at 8:00 am #278849Hi Paolo, I’ve removed W3 Cache and downloaded the “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” but when I login to my GeoDirectory downloads to the latest versions of the add-ins I’m getting the following message:
“Your license key for this purchase is expired. Renew your license key and you will be allowed to download your files again.”
We’ve only recently up-dated our subscription so why can’t I download the updates?

October 7, 2016 at 4:26 pm #279242HI,
that’s because you didn’t renew the old licenses (which are expired) but bought new licenses.
I cancelled the old expired licenses from the system, can you please try now?
Let us know,
Thanks

October 14, 2016 at 4:06 pm #284006Hi again,
I just tried activating the advance search license and it worked fine.
Are you using the keys that are found here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/ybmsteve/downloads/?
Let me know,
Thanks
October 14, 2016 at 5:24 pm #284049The problem is that when someone adds a listing it doesn’t actually get added – it goes nowhere
October 14, 2016 at 5:26 pm #284052did you update everything already?
October 14, 2016 at 5:27 pm #284053yes
