I am trying to follow the directions to setting up the List Manager Addon. I created a page named Lists and added it to the menu.
This page has the heading “Post Type Archives: Lists” is this correct? Doesn’t seem to be a way to edit the heading. And I am not finding any way to edit this page or addon in the GD settings.
I added the “Save to List” widget to the sidebar and that seems to be working okay.
I guess I don’t understand the correct setup and how to display the lists. There is also a huge gap at the top of the content. Can you please explain how to properly set up the List Manager addon?

Thanks for your post. If you wish to remove it, you can use custom CSS code but if you wish to edit it, you’ll need to edit the theme files and it falls under customization.
January 14, 2020 at 5:27 pm #525577Kor,
Thanks but you haven’t explained how to set up the plugin. The instructions that I found in the docs suck honestly for a feature that has been promoted and has it’s on Addon. But it seems like you are saying that out of the box this addon provides a page that has a HORRIBLE header title of Post Types Archive….surely that can’t be so!!!! Tell me please that you are NOT telling me that to fix this it needs customization?
If that is the case I will remove this addon about as quick or quicker than I added it. I hope that I am not understanding you correctly.
January 14, 2020 at 5:34 pm #525579So this is what you get out of the box when you set up this addon? Or is this not setup correctly on my end?
see screen shot.
January 14, 2020 at 5:49 pm #525583Hi riobravomedia,
Thanks for your reply. Like I’ve mentioned earlier, that title came from the theme and could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that I could take a better look at it?

Please see screenshot. This comes from the instructions for List Managaer
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/list-manager/
Please help me understand what #3 means under Usage.
How do you add a link to the menu if there is no page to link? I created a new page called Lists and saved it, with nothing else in it. I originally had some loop actions added to the page but they didn’t display so I removed them.
[gd_list_loop layout=”2″]
[gd_list_loop_actions]Right now it is just a page with Nothing in it. See screenshot.
What other controls are there?
Are there better instructions?January 14, 2020 at 6:11 pm #525589This reply has been marked as private.January 15, 2020 at 4:48 am #525637Add the List Save Element.
Saved lists will show up on the /lists/ page
The addon does not have an independant Archive or Archive item template, butt hat and more are planned for the future.

I am still unclear if I am supposed to create a page titled “lists” in order for this to work…because that certainly is NOT in the documentation.
It says to add Lists to the menu.
It obviously creates an archive page because it is titled “Post Type Archives: Lists” and I did nothing but create a page and named it “lists”
Disappointing that this is a feature of GD and the implementation is horrible.
Thanks.. this addon is certainly not ready for primetime. Going to just remove it.
Thanks for your help.
