Hi I noticed that when I am viewing a listing and then select to login I get the sign in screen but when I feel and click on sign in button I get taken to the previous page I was watching it does not stay in that listing why? Is there a way to fix this.

If I am in a listing and I sign in, I want to stay in that listing.

When I sigh out it takes me to my home page, also if I am at a listing and logout I want to stay in that listing just logged out. I don’t want to be pushed to the homepage.

Is there a way to fix this?

Quite strange, I cannot find why it is doing it though.

I think this is a bug that only appears when the BuddyPress integration is installed.

When is not installed though, login always redirects to home.

I flagged this for the developer, they will test more and let us know their findings.

Hi Paolo,
If the problem is BuddyPress, I am willing to remove it.
I moved my website from the old geotheme to this geodirectory. I have migrated about 100 listing and have emails everyone to claim their listing but when they visit their listing via the link I provided and then they try to claim the listing they get booted out to another page and they don’t know how to get back to their listing other then by having to search it.

If you can fix this so that the regular login does not re-direct to home page than I would be willing to remove BuddyPress. Let me know when that gets fixed.

Kiran and others, I can confirm that the bug seems to be Buddypress or BP integration.
I had tested with BP turned off, and now that I read Paolo’s post I turn BP on for my test site, and I get the same error.

Hi Rigo,

Check now, we have fixed the redirect link for login/logout.

FYI: Via BuddyPress Integration plugin, you can set custom redirect after login. It can be set from GeoDirectory > BuddyPress Integration > Login Redirect Settings.
