Macbook issues with registering and adding new listings

    Hi oh-wise-ones,
    I appear to have issues with users who use MacBooks as they are unable to register as a new user or add a new listing. Anyone have any suggestions??

    I am using UsersWP as well and GD as I like the redirect functionality after registration. Would this cause any issues?

    In addition, I have asked my friendly Macbook user if their Safari was up to date (it is) and they have tried on their Chrome and still no joy… Microsoft users have no troubles it appears…

    Hi Helen,

    This is a strange one, the symptoms seem to be that the recaptcha just keeps loading and loading. It seems to be related to the wp-embed script and safari, a few people have been reporting recaptcha issues over the last few days, i think its a change they have made and i guess we will have to wait for them to fix it: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Cannot+read+property+%27secret%27+of+null+site:wordpress.org

    I have deactivated the reCaptcha and yes that is certainly the cause of the troubles. I will await for Google to sort themselves out and let them know that I too have these issues.
