Manually adding places directly to the GD database

    We are looking to create a synchronization service between our CRM and our GD-based site. We would like the ability to be able to create new GD places based on customers in CRM completely through code. It looks like most of the information that we need to supply is in the gd_place_table

    Does information need to be added anywhere else? Particularly concerning to us is the gd_term_meta table – is that something that gets refreshed automatically from time to time?

    We’re on V1 still – upgrading to V2 is on our dev list, but not a hot priority for a bit here.

    The V2 API is where our focus is. The V1 API is also available as a plugin/addon.

    did you install our extension of the REST API? https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodir_api

    I would highly recommend the V2 API though.
