    Hi Lars,

that normally happens when you haven’t entered the Google Maps API key or you haven’t created it correctly.

Did you follow this doc? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Everything looks good, the only thing to double check is if there are spaces before and/or after the api key in our setting page (when you copy and paste from google it adds them somehow).

If that’s not the problem you may need to enable the APIs from the Google console.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ (bottom of the page)

Last option could be another plugin creating a conflict. If you provide admin credentials in a private reply I will have a look.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi Lars,

Your site has included multiple Google Maps Api, one via GeoDirectory plugin and another included via Swift Framework. Including multiple Google Maps Api causes JS error “You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.”

You have inserted Google API key in GeoDirectory plugin settings but not inserted API key in Swift Framework under Admin -> Swift Framework – Google Maps Authentication -> API Key. So the map not loaded on page, after API key also inserted in Swift Framework – Google Maps Authentication -> API Key now maps working fine.

It is recommended that you use only one Google Maps JS Api loaded via GeoDirectory plugin. You can use code snippet ( https://gist.github.com/kprajapatii/dd617fc89f25d24227de73b6e072e6a9 ) to disable/dequeue other Google Maps JS Api that loaded via other plugins/theme.

    Let us know.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hello Lars,

Please check now map back on home page.

GeoDirectory is fully compatible with Avada theme. We have many customers that using GD + Avada theme.

Also there is javascript error coming on pages “Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href=#]”. You should update Avada theme to latest. They have fixed this in recent version of Avada.

    Hi Kiran,

Fantastic… Thanks… did the update and all good… my god if feel like a danish Idiot..

    Now… sorry… but one “last” thing… ๐Ÿ™‚

When I add new places… under Places. and put in the address… it comes up with an error (please se attached)..
What am I doing wrong here?
I have tried to change the default location to different cities and have also tried to change it to Denmark.
But every time the New Places i add has to be at the location of the default location.
What I need is the ad places/listings all over Denmark.

    Ok… thanks again GD-People. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi,

do you have the Location Manager installed? Because without it you can only add listings in your default city.

    Let us know,

    Thanks
