I’m at a total loss on this one at this point.

    I’ve created the API Project
I’ve added all of the maps based APIs
I’ve restricted the API Key to my domain with a wildcard per Google support
Billing is connected to the project

From the backend, I still can’t set my default location. The address is saved but the maps function is not there.

If I try to add/edit a listing in the backend the map displays an error saying This Page Can Not Load Google Maps Correctly.

If I try to save a location I get a Request Denied error.

    I’ve tried creating a new key…no help.

I’ve even deleted the whole thing and started over…still nothing. Google shows that the requests are coming in but for whatever reason access is not being granted.

PLEASE HELP, I’m sure I’m just missing something here

    Hello,

It can sometimes take up to several hours for a new key with new billing to become active. That said, let me ask, did you use the built in button to generate the key?

Restricting the key will protect you, but you may want to leave restrictions off while trying to make it work, then once working, add those back in.

For using the forms, if you want to use Geocoding you will also need a geocoding key, which should not be restricted.

Read through our help here already? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/

Please share a link to a page where we can see the issue so we can check the error. You can see it for yourself, too, using chrome tools to show any errors that are coming from Google. Press ctr-shift-I to show that inspector, then choose the “Console” button to show the errors.

    That makes sense. But…

I tried adding the key to Dokan and it hasn’t changed anything. I even disabled the maps function in Dokan and I’m still getting the same errors.

Even after deactivating Dokan the error referencing multiple instances of Google Maps API persists.

The warning for noAPI keys is still there as well.

Woohoo, I finally got the theme developer to fix it!

Only one problem though and I’m guessing this is likely my error but…

When I try to use list view and have it set to show featured first but instead it’s showing the featured last.

    Any ideas what I did?

You set it for ascending…set it for descending (1->0) instead.
