    Hi,

I’d like to see a summary of my member’s activities on my directory. This information is summarized somewhere in the dB because I can see it in my individual profile. I can see how many reviews I’ve written and how many locations I’ve commented on.

As as admin, I’d like access to this info. for all users (ideally in a summarized way). I tried BuddyPress but it added a bunch of pages/features I don’t want.

    Any other ideas?

We have created UsersWP to provide rich, fast, profiles for users with an extensive selection of addons including activities.

Does the activity add-on allow admins. to compile/view activity from each user? I can’t tell by the documentation.

It shows the recent activity of users on their profile in a tab called ‘Activity’.

Thanks Alex. I understand that is available.

As an admin though, can I see a compiled list of activity from all of my users in one place?

For example, i’d like to see a list of users with number of posts, number of new places added, number of reviews added for all of my users. Even if it’s not on the front end, I’d like to access that information somewhere. I know it’s in the dB because it’s compiled for each user individually as you point out.

Oh, there is the GD Dashboard addon for V1. Once installed you can find it under under the WordPress dashboard link WordPress – Dashboard – GeoDirectory. Download it from your account:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gd-dashboard/

For V2 it is integrated into core and available from the GeoDirectory link in the backend.

I will flag your question for the developers, in case they have an idea where you might get started on a customization like that.

    Hello Jeff,

In v1 there is GD Dashboard addon that shows stats from GeoDirectory and its addons on the dashboard page.
In v2 we have merged GD Dashboard addon in core. Right now in v2 it showing some stats like listings/users/reviews etc with charts on main GeoDirectory page in backend.
Currently our main focus is to convert all GeoDirectory addons to v2 compatible. Once all GeoDirectory v1 addons converted to v2, we will make dashboard more user friendly.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

Thanks Kiran. How do I know if I’m on v1 or v2 and do you have an ETA for the more user friendly dashboards?

You can check your plugins page for the version number of the GeoDirectory plugin installed there. If it is 1.. then it is v1, 2.. it is V2.

V2 is ready for testing now: https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
