Minimum description length

    Hi Please can you tell me if it’s possible to require place and event descriptions to be over a minimum set number of characters?

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for your post. This can be done using the Pricing Manager addon. Create a package and untick the “Tick to set limit for the description characters length.” as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/#settings

    Hi Kor

    Ah that allows you to set a Max (which I had done) … I am looking to set a Minimum value. Thats not possible then?

    Could I suggests this is considered as a future addition?

    This is possible with GD built in features with text fields, but not textareas. We have a request to add validation to textareas which we are considering for future versions.
