    Hi,

    1. post author cannot edit reviews. Admin obviously can and that can’t be disabled.

    2. Not sure what you mean, but I fear it will require a customization.

    3. that will require an extra plugin. The ony one i found is: https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-report-comments/

    4. Pls see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-events-to-places/

    Thanks

Hi, Thanks very much for your help. Please help me in 1 & 2 points.

First Point : Please see attachment. I have logged in with post author but it is showing edit button for post author. It is not showing edit button for author of review. Also suggest if their option to directly show review without any approval.

Second Point: i was asking is it possible for post author to add vacancies in Restaurant. It should also allow users to search for jobs. This should be separate search field.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

what theme are you using and is that a normal subscriber or the admin? I just tested it in our demo and if logged in as a user and the user is post author you don’t see a reply link.

For the second point you could Events as Job listings. Events can be linked to listings.

I saw another member using events that way.

    Please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-events-to-places/

    Thanks

First Point : Where can i check it? I have tried by creating new user and tested by adding new post. He can edit reviews written by others. Post author is having permission to edit review. How to disable it.

Second Point : Is it possible to have both events and jobs.

    Hi,

for point 1 please post a link and admin credentials in a private reply.

No you can only have 1 events custom post type. So either you use it for Jobs or for Events.

    Thanks

    First Point:
I think i have got where the problem is. It is with New User Default Role. What should be new user default role? Contributor or editor? How to send private message?
