Multiselect category display type does not work for the default gd_place

I was wondering if there is a way to make the Multiselect category display type work for the default gd_place custom post type. As of right now, it gives me the following error: “Only select 1 categories for this package” even though it’s setup with Multiselect (refer to screenshot). Since there isn’t a way to prevent users from choosing gd_place when creating a listing, I renamed the gd_place labels so that it makes sense with the rest of my list. Let me know.
