    Hi!
Again I need your help or your advice.
The website will go international and also geodirectory does.
I’ll have different blog content for each country but the gd map and its content should be in every country site the same (no matter which language the spot is described).

What’s the best way to realize? I thought WordPress multisite, but now I see, it’s not (??) possible to have one map with all spots, isn’t it? The would be the best in my opinion. Each country has its own add listing page but the map will be shown with all listings from all countries. Is there a possibility to realize?

I know WPML but as I said the blog content is different for each country. So, I know not, if it’s the best solution.

    Thanks for your advice!

WPML sounds like the way to go.
If a blog post is only in one language, it will only show if that language is selected by the visitor.
You will need to copy all GD listings for each language, but there is an easy button for that in the listing settings.
    Thanks.

    Thanks Guust

I decided to buy WPML und installed it. At the moment I’m finding out how it’s working. How the category translation works. Is there a documentation or anything special to know?
    Otherwise I try out.

    Thanks for your recommendation

    Have a look at
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/translation/
    and
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-post-types/

    Category translation:
WPML > Translation management > Multilingual Content Setup tab > Custom taxonomies
Then after you create a CPT category, go to edit the category again, and you will see that you now can translate the category.

    Thanks
