Help! Our map (nationalsbd.com) is not showing the pins and our ads are showing as code. This just started recently and I am unsure how to fix it…How do I get the icons to show on my map again??
May 31, 2018 at 7:05 pm #432983Hello, and welcome to the forum!
Thanks for writing in about the issue. Did you recently dd any plugins or make any changes to the configuration?
I see that you have GD Booster enabled. Try disabling that (inside the GD Booster settings -> Disable). Check to see if that brings the map back and let us know.
You can also check to make sure you have not hidden listings from the map at : Geodirectory – Design – Map – Hide CPT and categories from the map
After checking those things, and making sure WP and your plugins are up to date, if you still have the issue, please write back with WP Admin credentials in a private reply so we can take a look at the site settings.
Thanks

I turned off the GD Booster and it was still happening.
I also went to look at the map setting and nothing has been selected to hide.June 1, 2018 at 7:12 pm #433162This reply has been marked as private.June 2, 2018 at 2:15 am #433179Hi Susan,
Please install the WP easy updates plugin https://wpeasyupdates.com/ for automatic updates. It looks like you’re using an older version of the location manager plugin. Could you please check?
Thanks!
June 13, 2018 at 6:53 pm #434880I installed WP Easy Updates and everything is updated, but still not functioning.
June 13, 2018 at 8:26 pm #434900Hello,
only one cache plugin is needed, and if WP Super Cache is your choice then disable others and please setup WP Super Cache as shown in the following instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#super-cache
June 13, 2018 at 9:24 pm #434910OK, I just enabled it today thinking it may help with the issue and loading lag. I don’t see that I have another…are you referring to the Booster? I disabled Super Cache until this is resolved and to remove it as a possible issue, but I will refer back to the link when/if I decide to set it up. We are close to closing down the business at this point because our whole marketing centered around the directory and it isn’t working so I may not need to even set it up…
June 14, 2018 at 11:14 am #434964Yes, use either GD Booster or WP Super Cache, not both.
Let us know how it goes.
June 18, 2018 at 10:49 pm #435399I did and there was no change.
June 19, 2018 at 9:25 am #435440Hello!
There were tab characters trailing after some of the titles in the site.
Once removed the map now loads.

June 20, 2018 at 3:31 pm #435690Ah OK! Well, something to look out for next time.
We recommend avoiding Excel for this listing data if possible, for future reference.
