    Hi guys,
I Need to add Content Area on my Homepage using Elementor Page Builder.
Also need to add Social Media buttons on Footer using Elementor in Details Page.
This is a priority for me as I really need to increase my SEO ranking for my website.

This is the error I’m getting:

I know you guys are already busy with GD V2 But any assistance with this to get around this issue would be really appreciated.
    Thanks!

Are you trying to add these features as widgets?
I am not sure what you are asking for.

    Hi Alex,
I am just trying to add a few New Sections on the Homepage(just above the footer) which have content in them that can be formatted/edited with Elementor.

    Add New Section example:

    Content example:
    http://img.techpowerup.org/180325/image-975.png

Unfortunately when I’m trying to edit the Homepage via Elementor and am getting the error mentioned in my initial message.

    Please advise. Thanks!

Gd Home is made of widgets and has no content area, please use a regular page as your home page instead of the GD Home page, that way you can use a page builder forit.

    Thanks

    Understood! Thanks Paolo!

With reference to the above link will I be able to complete move ALL existing widgets & ALL functionality to a regular page? Anything that I might lose by moving away from the GD Home page?

    Please advise. Thanks!

The table shows which widgets will function on non-GD pages.

    Thank Alex. Sounds good!
One last question regarding this topic.
How do I get this top part of the Homepage moved over to Non-GD page? What are the exact name of these widgets?
    Example:

    That’s part of Supreme theme.

If you wish to have that design with a different theme, you need to re-design it under your theme.

We used the search widget and the popular category widget below the search.

    Thanks
