I’d like to get rid of two items on the home page.
1 – the white arrow that automatically takes you to the bottom of the page.
2 – the thin white bar/section right above the footer that runs the full width of the page.I would also like to change the color of the red stripe under the word ‘Places’ at the top of the search results page.
I’m also having trouble adding any town outside of my own province (BC in Canada). I’ve activated the Location Manager plugin but it won’t let me add a listing outside of BC.
October 9, 2018 at 4:28 pm #449168Hi jordan,
Thanks for your post. I’ll try to answer your questions accordingly.
1. That can be removed using custom CSS code. Refer to this https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
2. Refer to #1 and also for changing the “red stripe” under the word “places”
To add countries/location outside of your own province. You need to install the ‘Location manager’ addon and here is the link for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
Thanks!
October 9, 2018 at 7:00 pm #449179Thanks for your help Kor – much appreciated.
I managed to change the color of the line under ‘places’ on my site – thanks. However, after doing so, my ‘Add a Listing’ page no longer exists when I try to sign-up a new business (SS attached). Not sure what happened there.
I can get rid of the Chevron arrow and the white bar while in Code Inspector, but I don’t know how to apply those to my site permanently. Any help there? (ss attached)
Regarding the adding of towns outside my area, I’ve installed and activated the Location Manager add-on. Is there something else I need to enable within that add-on?
October 9, 2018 at 11:21 pm #449191OK I’ve figured out the multiple locations when listing a new business. And I got my ‘Add a Listing’ page working again.
My main issue now is whenever anyone tries to sign-up on the site, it says ‘Suspected Bot’ after submitting a name and email address (ss attached). I can’t find anything about this on the forums.
Help?
October 10, 2018 at 12:18 am #449193OK I figured out the bot issue.
My only issue now is ‘No Payment Gateway Active’ on the checkout page. I have the Payment Manager addon activated. And I’ve setup Stripe. What am i missing?

Thanks for your reply. Could you please share the URL of the page in question? I think we can achieve this with custom CSS code.
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Try using the custom CSS code below and see if it works? Insert into Gd > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
.search-no-results .geodir_cpt_categories_widget{ display:none!important; }

I do have two more items though….
1 – How do I center the Referral Form on my page (ss attached) to line-up with the centered ‘Refer a Biz’ header above it.
2 – How do I change the background image on this page? I’d like to replace the map picture that is there by default with a different image.October 11, 2018 at 5:57 am #449291Hi Jordan,
Thanks for your reply. You can refer to the answers below.
1. You can use this custom CSS.
.page-id-158 .sd-sidebar.sd-sidebar-right {display:none!important} .page-id-158 .entry-content.sidebar-active { width: 100%!important; text-align:center!important; } .page-id-158 .entry-content.sidebar-right { padding-right: 0px!important; border-right: 0px!important; }
2. Could you try changing the Featured Image as mentioned here? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/#homepage
October 11, 2018 at 3:01 pm #449336Those worked! Thank you SO much!
The only page I’m having trouble with now is the login page. I’d like to customize it, but I’m automatically redirected to the listing page because as an admin, I’m logged-in to the site.
I’ve tried editing it with the traditional editor but I’d like to use the Customize feature or Beaver Builder instead.
Also, how can a user add a profile picture? (ss attached)
