Hi,
I just noticed that after doing the updates on GD core and GD addons, my ninja forms for contact and claim are not loading anymore. there is an indicator on the blank page which seems to be showing loading, but the form does not appear.
for claim (“Is this your business” button below the tabs) : https://yopune.com/compt_coaching/10405/text-toto-2505/
for contact (“Send Enquiry Link below the tabs): https://yopune.com/compt_coaching/9854/agent-jacks-coaching-centre/
I am using the widget GD>Ninja Forms for these.
Do please check what may have broken.
thanks,
VivekMay 25, 2019 at 12:57 pm #488877I get a message that says please login.

If you remove that, does the form work?May 26, 2019 at 2:28 pm #489031Hi Alex, i dont think i made any change to prevent access to the form – where did you get that information?
thanks, Vivek
May 26, 2019 at 4:08 pm #489042I ask because the GD Contact Form is accessible by anon visitors by default. Try a default contact form, the GD Contact Form template in NF to see if that works.
Your site is 503 and I cannot access.
May 27, 2019 at 5:27 am #489106Hi Alex,
Pls see this : https://yopune.com/compt_coaching/10241/great-course-for-engineering/
1. I tried to insert the Ninja forms contact and Claim themselves into the page using the NF shortcodes in the left sidebar – both forms show in the sidebar, so that means they are there and can be accessed
2. Added widget for GD claim form (native, not NF) on the page (in the body, button “Claim Listing”) – this also opens the GD claim form as expected.
3. Added the GD NF widget again in the right sidebar (button “Claim Form” this is still not loading the form, same as the “Is this your business” which is the same widget in a different position
Does this suggest something wrong with the GD>Ninja Forms widget, if the forms themselves are showing on the page, thru shortcode?
May 27, 2019 at 5:57 am #489107Hi Alex- to your query about preventing access to contact form, i had set in the Ninja form >edit>settings>advanced>Restrictions>Require user to be logged in to view form>YES
However, i turned that setting off, and tried again, still the form does not load for both logged in and anon users (now they dont see the message to login anymore, as expected)
After checking this, I have turned on again the above setting to require login for showing form. I have had that setting from long ago, and the GD Widget and claim /contacts forms on Ninja were working fine until recently – i noticed this change around the time i updated GD and the addons a couple of days ago
thanks,
VivekMay 27, 2019 at 7:09 am #489112Hi Vivek,
Thanks for your reply. I’m able to see a console error when the form is trying to load. Could you go through this conflict test and see if it helps? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#conflict-test
May 27, 2019 at 8:18 am #489125Thanks, Kor.
Have already tried deactivating all non-GD plugins except ninja forms, but still the issue remains.May 27, 2019 at 9:27 am #489155These will not work:
[ninja_form id=5][ninja_form id=2]
Only the GD Ninja Forms widget/element should be used if you are looking for the integration feature.
May 27, 2019 at 9:36 am #489161Yes, Alex, if you see teh page:
https://yopune.com/compt_coaching/10241/great-course-for-engineering/the NF shortcodes you have mentioned are used only in the left column to check if the correct NF forms are being accessed (only for testing). As these forms are visible using the NF shortcode, when the user is logged in (as per the setting in NF mentioend above)
However the “Is this your business?” button in the body, as well as “Claim Form” button in the right sidebar, are both using the GD Ninjaform widget – yet the form is not loading
This is why i was suspecting something may be broken in the widget integration
