Two issues with Ninja forms so far.
One, may seem minor, but the X doesn’t close out the settings form (see image). I’ve noticed this on two different computers approaching it multiple times.
Two, the form doesn’t work. I followed the instructions from the video. It’s driving me nuts. This form seems like WAY OVERKILL. I just want something simple. I miss V1 contact form. Using a third party form like this seems like a mistake because now there’s more potential for issues.

There is a 500 error with the ajax call to the contact form, can you provide FTP and i’ll investigate?
Thanks,
Stiofan

I have not seen this problem before so i doubt an update would fix it, i would need to see the error log to see what the problem is, cpanel info is just as good, i should be able to find the issue with that.
Thanks,
Stiofan
September 30, 2018 at 11:47 am #448273Using the standard 2017 template.
//================
I have the exact same problem on a VM using VVV.I am following the video> GeoDirectory v2 beta – Ninja Forms Walkthrough >>
1. x does not close.
2. widget GD Ninja forms does not display on sidebar.
========================Using the directory starter template I do see the dummy data, but no side menu.
I think the setup assumes you have all the addons installed.
The current setup is basic wordpress with WPGeo V2.October 1, 2018 at 12:54 am #448301This reply has been marked as private.October 1, 2018 at 6:22 am #448306Hello!
For the Issue: X does not close
We have already created a ticket with Ninja to inform them of the issue.
If you have a chance to make a ticket with them you can share this link:

@geek support, please make a new topic and we will try to help you with #2. Docs are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/ninja-forms/

To get around the issue, just use the back button in the browser. Everything else works as designed. If you find another issue, let us know.
October 12, 2018 at 5:45 am #449400Right away I said two issues. The first was minor. The second was the form doesn’t work. Alex, the form doesn’t work. I even shared an image of the form being nothing more than a black screen.
Are you guys going to include a form with V2 something simple at least for listings so we are not exponentially more vulnerable depending on a third party plug for something so critical?
