No option to leave a star rating

I don’t want the multi-rating plugin currently but do not seem to have an option to leave a star rating at all with a written review that I thought was part of the core plugin

It seems you are not using the normal WP commenting system but some Comment plugin that does not work with GD?

I’m not aware of having anything plugged in comment wise
Maybe jetpack is conflicting?
yep … just switched off the Comments section of the jetpack plugin under Engagement in the settings for jetpack

Jetpack has some issues, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#jetpack
If turning that off does not fix it, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will check your settings.

Yes disabling the comments in jetpack did solve the star issue
should i disable jetpack altogether?

If you don’t know why you are using it, then there should be no reason why you cannot turn it off 🙂
