    Yes, if the email is for the same domain it will be dealt with internally in the server and may not be sent to 3rd party email applications. I have seen this before.

    Hi Les, did you ever get an email from your website ? (I mean using the standard WordPress notifications). It could be something with your host, having issues with phpmail. Try to use a SMTP plugin, e.g. this one .

    Yes I can receive emails via the site and I am able to successfully send an email via the Send Enquiry and Send to Friend features on the side bar of the details page of Geodirectory see <a href=”http://screencast.com

    did you check in the spam folder if eventually there is an email with the error about the reject of the email?

    Hi Simone, I feel a bit stupid but I have just noticed that when I try to make a new registration I get a message ‘New User Registration Disabled’,see here.

    How do I enable new user registration.

    Hi

    I have been having a few problems with this too and things seem to work after turning off a spam plugin WP-SpamShield Anti-Spam that I had live.

    Can anybody recommend a spam plugins _ I seem to be getting around 20 spam emails per day

    I have added the “Add Listing” link to my site, however when I complete the form with one of my other email addresses and a name there is NO thank you page NOR do i receive the email with the password.

    I am not technical so is there an easy fix to this please?

    Hi Garry,

    there is more than 1 solution provided on this thread. The error could be due to several things, so the only way to know is to do some trial and error till the problem goes away.

    Can you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply, so that we can have a look at it?

    Hi,

    GeoDirectory is not multisite compatible yet.

    You will need to install it on a single wordpress install.

    I’m sorry, but nowhere we state that it is and in the forum there are plenty of topics about making GD multisite, which is an ongoing thing.

    At the moment it can only be used in single site environemnt though.
