Setup the Multisite in a subdirectory style.
Default url works fine that tennisreferrals.com.
It works fine if the location country is changed from the front-end.
However, if the site is visited from the backend then everything is incorrect (theme, plugins etc)Url with change location: tennisreferrals.com/location/(country)
url from the back-end: tennisreferrals.com/(country)What am I doing wrong?

https://tennisreferrals.com/location/india/ is the country page for India of the main site.
It is not the same as https://tennisreferrals.com/india/ which is the homepage of a sub-site, which has currently no default location.A multisite does not share anything from one site to another, only users are shared.
If you want to have different countries in different sites, you need to set each site to default country listings only, and add manual links to the other sub-sites.Note also that if you use PayPal as a gateway, there is no need to set up for multiple currencies, that is handled by PayPal itself, depending on the PayPal user’s setting.

August 9, 2017 at 2:50 pm #390398Thanks GUUST, you have clarified few misunderstandings. Few that I want to clarify:
If you want to have different countries in different sites, you need to set each site to default country listings only, and add manual links to the other sub-sites.
Remember:
Multisites required because currency & Ads are different for each country site but Language is English.1. I presume one needs to setup each country site though it is a fresh site?
2. If you do not network activate any plugins then how will they be installed in the subdirectory?
3. Any CSS in the main site will need to be redone?
4. how do you set each site to its default country?Excuse me of being a novice at GD. Login details provided earlier.
Rgds.

So I am not sure why you need different sites for different currencies, but I will assume you do.
Ads are different for each country site
Maybe not a reason for multisite, but your call: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#logic
1. I presume one needs to setup each country site though it is a fresh site?
Correct2. If you do not network activate any plugins then how will they be installed in the subdirectory?
You will need to activate them for each sub-site.3. Any CSS in the main site will need to be redone?
Not if you use the same theme for each sub-site, and you add the CSS at the correct place.4. how do you set each site to its default country?
First set a default location for the sub-site in the relevant country.
Then activate Location Manager.
Then go to GD > Location Manager > Location Settings tab > Country > Enable default country (country drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher). > YES

August 10, 2017 at 8:21 am #390492Yes Guust, it makes sense to just have a Single Site with the Locations Manager and hence no need for a Multisite.
Just 1 clarification, before I restore the single site from the backup:
How will the Default Currency (ex GBP) and Currency Symbol (£) be dealt by GD for a non-UK country?
If the price for detailed listing is say £5 then will the price displayed be converted to local currency on GD? I understand Paypal will convert and charge in the local currency.Thanking you in anticipation.
JayAugust 10, 2017 at 12:50 pm #390522The price will always display as pounds, but once a user goes to PayPal, conversion should be shown.
Thanks
August 10, 2017 at 10:22 pm #390616Still deciding between single or multi-site:
For a GD Single Site with Locations Manager:
Is it possible to have an Admin User restricted for each country?
Is Single or Multisite better for speed and any preference for SEO?
THX
JayAugust 11, 2017 at 12:07 am #390625Each subsite can have its own admin, only superadmins can see all admin areas.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_CapabilitiesThere should be no speed difference, and I doubt it would have any impact on SEO.
August 11, 2017 at 10:33 am #390695Sorry, what I meant was that is it possible to have different Admin for each country in a Single site scenario?
August 11, 2017 at 11:39 am #390702No, that is not possible. Admin has access to all the backend.
