Hello WP Geo Directory team,

I really know this question has already been asked multiple times here, but knowing you’re releasing a V2 and that I’m seeing now this option in another WordPress plugins (such as in The Events Calendar) I was wondering if there are any tracks in order to allow non registrated users to submit a location.

I recently bought your plugin (and it is an amazing and effective solution) but right now I would prefer open the listing submission without passing through a registration process (which can definiteley discourage my Web users).

I also see that Gravity Forms is not easily connectable so I’m wondering how to find a solution to this without any big custom development.

Thanks for your post. To post without logging in, you can enable the option here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/account-management/#gd . Currently, GDv2 supports Ninja Forms as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/ninja-forms/ . If you wish to use Gravity Form, it would require customization.

Another question I have now is, is it possible to disable the automatic user registration?

I’m not seeing anything in the plugins settings right now.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, what do you mean by “Disable automatic user registration”? Are you trying to avoid spammers? If you are, you might want to try using the GD Recaptcha addon or try using this plugin https://userswp.io

Hello Kor,

As soon as I entered a name and an email here in the first part of the form (Your details), I’m receiving an account creation email.

Is it possible to only accept public submissions without this phase of WordPress account creation?

It isn’t possible to submit GD Listings without either being logged in or creating the account in the process.

Hello Alex,

Like Kor said there is an option in the V2 (see the screenshot in attachment) to allow non logged users to access the listing submission form and to submit locations.

Then the user needs to fill 2 fields at the top of the form (Your Details: name + email), which then creates an account, I’m trying to avoid that on my side.

Thanks for your reply. To clarify, that option will allow posting listings without logging in but it will still create an account as explained in the documentation here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/account-management/#gd.

users will be able to fill in their name and email so they can add a listing and create an account with one form.
