HI there, Have created a new post type called gd_jobs and successfully built a custom form within that type, adding two dummy records both with the title including the word Developer. On the search page the pages are found and the sort options are correct but when clicking on a job get the ‘page doesn’t seem to exist’ message.
I’ve read the forum and tried ‘re-saving’ the permalinks but that too doesn’t work. I then noticed 4 fields were not saving but were set to ‘Required’ so made these un-required, but still won’t load.

Please advise. The page is behind a register page but is set as free for 10 days.

Feel free to register to test: https://parttimepurpose.org/jobs/senior-wordpress-developer/

    Hi Nick Henley,

Thanks for your post. If the solution here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/#faq does not work, kindly share your Website WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll troubleshoot this further for you.

Yes, I tried that again (it was in the FAQs), but it hasn’t seemed to work. I did notice that the Job (place) is not saving the location details as I have to replace these each time. Is that the cause of the problem – it has no saved location?

HI again, it is nothing to do with the custom post type fields as these are saving for the ‘owner’ (I had been trying to save for another person). So it seems to be a bug with the post type custom field display. Can I give you a login and you tell me what is wrong. Thanks, Nick

    Wrong settings.

You had restricted the directory to the greater london region in GeoDirectory Settings > Locations.

None of the listings was for that area and they were missing most of the required fields.

Now this one is fixed: https://parttimepurpose.org/jobs/senior-wordpress-developer/

The other one still needs to be edited.

    Thanks

Well that’s interesting because I only change the settings to Greater London when trying to work out what was not working. Could it be then that one needs to to reset these settings for multi location a little bit like the permalink fix. Thanks for fixing it anyway. I appreciate that. Nick
