    Hi,

    1. I published a ‘pending review’ listing (paid package) from admin, even though the invoice was payment pending status. Here the invoice status continues to show pending payment.
    2. I was able to create a new listing from admin, selecting a paid package. Here there is no invoice associated with this post.

Just wanted to confirm this is expected behaviour, and if there are any alerts (eg before admin publishes the post tell them ithis is not paid) to avoid admin approving posts which are unpaid?

Paid listings go to published status directly if the payment goes through.

So if a listing for a premium package is in draft, it means the payment did not go through.

    Thanks

    Thanks, Paolo
However my understanding is that :

    1. it is not necessary for post to be published after successful payment, if the setting in CPT settings> Packages > Paid Listing Status, is set to other than Published (see attached shot) – is that correct?

    2. A post may be Published by admin, from other status, regardless of the whether its invoice is paid or not – ie admin can override and publish a post irrespective of payment status

    Please confirm these are correct?
    thanks,
    Vivek

    1. True
    2. True

Many members choose to publish listings on a certain package and then allow users to claim them and then pay for that or another package.

There are no notifications of the type you mention in the first post.

Please post GDV2 related questions in the appropriate subforum; it helps us give appropriate advice.
