password reset email not being sent

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    My client told me that users had complained that the password reset email was not being sent.

    I tried it myself on my own account on the website and the email did not send either.

    Is there anything I need to do?

    Hi Brendan,

    Could install the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/ and check if the email is being correctly logged. If they are and still aren’t sent, the problem is at the server level.

    In that case 99% of times it can be solved installing and configuring an SMTP plugin.
