Thanks so much! I sent an email to our hosting service requesting they remove that line in the file if it’s not necessary. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get a response.
Do you have an estimate for when the next release will be?

Again, do you have any idea when the next update will be made available?
We were told that line in the file cannot be removed, so we’re currently waiting on this update before we can move any farther with our site.

Unfortunately even after this update we’re still having some problems. Publishing posts seems to be mostly working now! Images are still not being saved correctly though, and disappear upon publishing. The map on the details page also doesn’t hone into the location correctly either.

Additionally, I’m not sure if it’s related but importing listings is not working in a similar way that publishing wasn’t. I’ve attached a few screenshots of the information that shows up above the custom fields on imported listings.
The one with the location listed as ‘Unknown’ on the list of listings is an imported one. The one above it was just published a few minutes ago and everything was added correctly (minus the image).

Most of the problems are still persisting, the only thing that changed was the details map centering, that’s now working correctly, but importing + image uploading still does not.
I did update all plugins on site that I’m exporting from too.

Hi, Can you remove the “Authentication required” screen, i believe that is contributing, then i can test things further.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Are you referring to the password protection? I just disabled it and tried importing the file again, and it didn’t seem to make an immediate difference for that. We got it set up so that search engines can’t find the site even though it’s not in privacy mode anymore, so we should be able to keep the password off for a while.
Let me know if you need anything else and I’ll see what I can do.

    Hi Ben,

I have ran a few tests on your site adding and updating from front, backend and CSV import and everything worked as expected. Please let me know what issues you are having and how exactly to recreate?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I just added the first 3 listings of your CSV file without any problem.
If you want to add new listings, you must leave the post ID empty.

Thank you SO much, removing the IDs worked! Well, everything but the images imported, but I’m not surprised that you can’t import images this way, I can just add those again.

Image import works also (i used it), they also have ids that might be causing u issues.
The stricture of the image import is
    URL|ID|TITLE|DESCRIPTION,URL|ID|TITLE|DESCRIPTION,URL|ID|TITLE|DESCRIPTION

So again u would need to remove the ID if its already added to another listing.

@guust, i know u were working on docs for image import, but i could not find them, can you link theme here please?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
