I’m about ready to launch the test of the site and when I go in to set up a test user, the email confirmation never comes and I never get the email about a new user. I’m not sure what changed since I had the last person tested it.
I went in to manually send the confirmation again and it came this time.

The I went through to test the add place option and the address/places isn’t there. If I’m logged in as the admin it shows, but as a test user there is no way to actually list your location.

    Hi Dan,

Regarding the email notification issue, please ask for support from your the hosting provider, because it’s not an application error. You’ll probably need an SMTP plugin.

Anyway, what do you mean by “but as a test user there is no way to actually list your location.”?

    Thanks!

Glad you’re back, hope all is well.

Email worked fine 2 weeks ago and then just stopped. I’ve changed nothing on hosting set up. When they signed up, I got an email and so did they to confirm. It was through the add listing part of GEO.

The second part, when someone goes to add a listing, they cannot pick a location. I’ve paid for and installed the multilocations, but on the add listing page it’s not there. The only time it populates is for me as an admin. So someone who wants to sign up their business, can’t actually pick a location.
You’ll see in the attached screen shots.

Does it have to do with the fact that the only license I see is for the payment manager when I go to licenses and updates?

    Hi,

I see multilocations working fine both in front and back end. Why do you say it doesn’t work in front end?

You selected default country and region and only multi city, so you can only add listings to cities of the state of Pennsylvania, United States.

    Hope this helps.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Paolo,
Yes, as an admin, you can see the multilocations, but when someone creates an account and is not an admin, the multilocation section of the add listing doesn’t appear. only admins can see it.

I have the cities I want listed, they just can’t be seen by non admin.

    Hi,

    in GeoDirectory >> Place Settings

you set the address field to be enabled “for admin use only”…

Disable that and it will work for everyone.

    Thanks
