Hello,
My company is building a directory database for a number of locations for tourism. We are GeoDirectory premium members and we are trying to enable a map feature that would show all of our locations with pin drops on the map that users could click on to view the listing.
I have installed and activated the Location Manager, Marker Cluster and Map Styles add-ons to build the map feature. We have all of our places added into the Places tab (seen in first screenshot) but our GeoDirectory says we have one country, region and city (second screenshot). Our locations are all in the US and Maryland so we will only ever have one country and region, but we should have multiple cities. Is GeoDirectory not communicating with our Places tab? What can we do to connect the places we have already loaded into the Places tab to GeoDirectory so we may use the Location Manager?
We are using WP version 5.2.3, Elementor version 2.7.1, and GeoDirectory version 2.0.0.66.
Thanks!

I agree that doens’t look right.
Please share WP Admin and login URL in a private reply so we can check the settings.
Did you import the listings?

There was missing entries for cities in location database table. I have created entries for those cities and now it shows correct city/listings.
Please check and let us know.

KiranSeptember 16, 2019 at 1:46 pm #508418Hi Kiran,
I now see 41 cities in the Locations tab, but I still see 0 listings under the Places tab within the Geodirectory dashboard. Is that normal?
Also, two more questions:
1. How can I add new listings to make sure there are correct entries in the location database table? We have new locations to add.
2. How can I enable the map feature to show all the locations/places on an interactive map?

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive/For your new map page, use the shortcode builder to create a directory map for the page with the options you want.

Regarding the archive pages and the “view all”–is it critical to view all using the archive pages or is there a way that all of the results can load on the same GD listings page?
Is Elementor Pro critical for our site? What benefit is there to editing the GD Detail, Archive and Search Archives?
Thanks!
