I am using Sahifa theme for my directory:
    http://www.biznopedia.com/places

    I noticed a few things:

    1. The sidebar doesn’t use any of the styling that the theme uses (You can see it here http://themes.tielabs.com/sahifa/)

    2. For the “Profile:
    http://www.biznopedia.com/places/attractions/audacious-freedom/

The plugin ignores all the formatting I have in the WYSIWIG and displays it all as the same text

Any way to have the plugin incorporate all the features of the theme?

If you want to change the GD styling, you need to edit the CSS.
This post tells you how you can do that: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-your-style/

The GD pages are not theme pages except for the header and footer, so any WYSIWYG will not work.

So how come it works fine with other themes but not with Sahifa?

Plugins always have their own CSS, plugin developers cannot know what styles theme developers will use.
The GD sidebar always uses GD styling, in every theme, unless admins have tweaked the code. Some of the basics from the theme might be used like font for example, but not that much.

If you pinpoint exactly what you think is wrong, we might be able to give you some quick code.

looks like sahifa is not fully compatible, see how the Add Listing drop menu displays even though the cursor is not over it?

Yes I’ve had to hire a programmer to help make it more compatible with sahifa. Other themes have less issues.
