    Hi there is there a way I can show only the top (parent category)

    For example, my parent categories are: construction, legal, children, health, etc
    under construction would be plumbing, electricians, etc

    under legal will be: solicitors, lawyers, accountants
    children: nursery, child minding etc
    health: dentist, chiropractor etc

    Hi i tried a couple of things and i realised if need something more
    For example once the person clicks on a parent category is it possible that the sub categories loads up.
    So they click on “construction” and then pumbing, electricians etc loads up?

    The CPT categories widget should do that.
    Add the widget to the Listings pages, and set
    Max no of sub-categories: 0
    Show max sub-categories depth: 1

    Also I had this code to make the font small on both desktop and phone how could i get it on there?

    You did not add the CPT categories widget to the Listings pages, I have done that now. I suggest deleting the Popular Categories widget.

    I also corrected your WP permalinks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames

    You can add CSS at GD > Design > Scripts tab > Custom style css code
